Gold Nugget & Depot Museums Monthly Docent and Volunteer Meeting

Our Gold Nugget and Paradise Depot Museums have been dedicated to preserving and sharing the history of the Paradise Ridge for nearly 40 years. Our Depot Museum features stories and artifacts from the days of the Butte County Rail Road and the Diamond Match Lumber operations in Chico and Stirling City and beyond. In the heart of the Depot Museum we feature displays representing the Gold Nugget Museum and Nuggetville, lost in the November 8, 2018 Camp Fire.

Do you know a thing or two about the Ridge history? Are you a logging or railroad buff? Would you like to get involved?!

The 2nd Thursday of the month at 10:00 a.m. we have our regular Docent and Volunteer meeting. We are in need of folks who can commit to a regular 4-hour shift in the museum one day per month. If you have a knack for storytelling or enjoy sharing history with others, please join us!
