Doom the Winter Gloom

Description

Join Paradise Stronger in dooming the gloom! In an effort to combat the loneliness that winter months can bring, we plan to create a welcoming environment where participants can connect and build friendships over the beauty of houseplants. This will enhance overall emotional well-being, while fostering a sense of responsibility and joy through plant care. This event is hosted in partnership with Neighbor-To-Neighbor.

Purpose

Join us for a houseplant class that not only teaches participants how to care for plants, but also creates a supportive community, promoting social interaction and shared experiences. Connecting over shared interest immediately sparks conversations and may naturally lead into future friendships.

Role

Education on plant care will teach skills related to house plant maintenance, propagation, and indoor gardening, allowing participants to carry home the joy and possibilities of welcoming nature and new friends and plants into their homes.
